Republican senators demand hearings on Boston Marathon
Wed Apr 24, 2013
Playing politics again - anything to keep from creating jobs. Of course, they slept on a 9/11 investigation for 5 years before getting into that one. For Republicans, it's always trying to find the next Whitewater.
How the maker of TurboTax fought free, simple tax filing
Tue Mar 26, 2013
I learned long ago that Intuit's interests were not the same as mine. I've moved on to less costly filing programs (TaxAct) for myself and my family members. Guess it's time to raise the rate they pay taxes at, since they have so much "free" cash.
Jeb Bush: I won't rule out 2016 White House run 'but I won't declare today'
Mon Mar 4, 2013
He's old, he's a white male, he's a Bush. What more reason could Republicans need to vote for him?
Florida governor, a health reform foe, expands Medicaid
Wed Feb 20, 2013
Perry only cares for the 1%. He is doing everything he can to make life for the rest of us really miserable. Texas is the home of one of the worst education systems in the country and the lowest wage jobs in the country. Come on down!

Thu Nov 29, 2012
If the Republicans insist on cuts to benefits, then they need to come out and state the amount and what benefits those cuts will impact. Otherwise, they'll blame the Democrats for cutting benefits. Played that game, won't play it again.
Lava flows to the ocean in Hawaii, creating rare natural show
Wed Nov 28, 2012
I've been to the Big Island a number of times, and the lava flows are fascinating. The best way to view lava flowing into the see is through one of the boat charters out there. The reputable ones know what to do, and I've picked up some great shots and video from those trips.
