Sugar vs. corn syrup: Legal battle aims to establish the sweet truth
Thu Jan 23, 2014
The increase in the use of HFCS has also seen a rise in obesity and Type II diabetes world wide. Coincidence? Or corn sugar? I've stayed away from HFCS for years now.
Fetus of Texas woman on life support 'distinctly abnormal,' family lawyers say
Wed Jan 22, 2014
Texas - we're like a whole other (4th world) country.
Giuliani: Democratic lawmaker leading Christie probe should step aside
Sun Jan 19, 2014
Who does he recommend? Mr Benghazi - Darrell Issa? Or someone else with a criminal past? This is beginning to sound like a "Godfather" movie. Except Christie doesn't need to stuff his cheeks.
Jobless aid bill blocked in Senate
Tue Jan 14, 2014
The GOP doesn't hate America, just Americans. More money for contractors, more money for the military, less money for the unemployed and infrastructure.
Romney: Obama's 'dishonesty' on health care puts second term in peril
Sun Nov 3, 2013
This from a guy who completely disowned Romneycare when he ran for President, and comes from the party that has done nothing for the past 4 years except try and build the XL pipeline for the Kochs or attempted 40+ attempts to repeal (not fix or replace) ACA. Useless.

Fri Nov 1, 2013

Shutdown to enter fourth day as work in Congress slows
Wed Oct 2, 2013
Boehner - the President won't give in to our demands, so therefore, he won't negotiate. Sounds like the Cruzy Republicans need a lesson on what negotiations mean. A minority party cannot hold the government hostage because they don't like a law that was passed according to the Constitution.
House GOP votes to cut $39 billion from food stamp program
Thu Sep 19, 2013
Republicans - $4 billion is too much on an annual basis for millions of hungry people. However, that's not enough in subsidies to oil companies or the $800 billion spent each year on defense (more than the next 17 countries combined). It's easy to see where their priorities lie. With the 1%.
Arizona expands ban on driver's licenses to immigrants
Wed Sep 18, 2013
Stupid decision. People without licenses aren't required to purchase insurance. If I was in that situation, I would simply pack up and move. Not much to recommend in Arizona anyway. My family came over as illegals from France to Texas in the 1830s, when whites were banned from this area.
House panel makes scant progress getting more answers on Benghazi attack
Wed Sep 18, 2013
Pay no attention to the hundreds of millions the Republicans have cut in funding for the State Department, and all the cuts to security. Just click your heels together 3 times while saying, "Benghazi", and you'll be transported back to the Kansas you remember from the 1930s.
